Later on, the channel thought it was time to focus on other polygamist families too. So, they renewed a spin-off of it called ‘Seeking Sister Wife’. Here, multiple couples practicing polygamy showcased their lifestyle. Well, TLC has taken things up a notch now. That’s because they are here with a brand new show, Seeking Brother Husband!
As the name suggests, Seeking Brother Husband will have women being in marital relationships with multiple men. This practice is commonly known as polyandry. While the trailer didn’t officially introduce the cast, it did reveal some powerful moments. A leading lady was tired of the “double standards” in the society where no one bats an eye at men, but as soon as women have multiple partners, they are instantly called “sl*ts.” Another cast member stated that practicing polyandry means getting out of one’s “comfort zone.” There were surely moments of turbulence in the trailer too. That’s because a husband talked of his wife falling for someone else in front of his eyes.
Then, there was another castmate who asked his partner how she would “juggle three guys”. Then, in a confessional, another star claimed that having multiple partners isn’t just about “sex”. While many viewers wanted TLC to put a stop to these shows, many were curious to know how it will play out in future episodes. The release date of the much-anticipated brand-new show will fall somewhere in March 2023.
