Seeking Sister Wife: Lorrana Says Yes To Garrick’s Proposal

On New Year’s Day, Lorrana posted on Instagram, which immediately caught fans’ attention. The post had several photos of her and Garrick. One particular photo caught everyone’s attention, showing Garrick on one knee, seemingly holding a ring. Another photo showed him holding her hand with a ring on it. Lorrana from Seeking Sister Wife captioned, “Moving forward with faith, gratitude, and hope for a new year of blessings. Happy 2026.”

Although Lorrana turned off comments on the post. Fans didn’t stop sharing their thoughts in fan groups. Some were confused, while others assumed the photos might be old from Garrick’s first proposal. Once fans realized the pictures were recent, they got concerned. They questioned Lorrana’s decision, especially with the domestic violence allegations still fresh. Some wondered if it was about money. Many thought she only said yes because she didn’t want to return to Brazil.

Seeking Sister Wife: No TLC Exit For The Merrifields As Court Approves Garrick’s California Travel

Garrick Merrifield of Seeking Sister Wife recently appeared in court again in Chaffee County, Colorado, as his domestic violence case continues to unfold. During the hearing, both the defense and the prosecution said there was a problem with the prosecution that was delaying the legal process. One major factor is that the primary prosecutor is currently preparing to take the Colorado bar exam. This is why the hearing got rescheduled to 27 January 2026.

At that hearing, Garrick will be properly arraigned, or the defendant will submit a plea deal. If neither happens, the case will move forward to trial. Fans following the case closely also noticed that the judge shut down a planned live stream of the hearing. Despite the unresolved charges, the judge approved Garrick’s request to travel out of state.

Garrick will be in California from January 8 to January 15 to attend an investment meeting tied to a “luxury boutique resort” project he and his first wife, Dannielle, are involved in. Meanwhile, Lorrana Merrifield posted on Instagram to show support and a united front. She recently shared a post of Garrick proposing to her, along with a message about entering 2026 with hope, renewal, and faith.

The posts suggest Lorrana is moving past the DV issue and choosing to be his wife in 2026. Moreover, an inside source of TLC stated that TLC has not fired the Merrifield family for the legal issue and domestic violence case. Fans think the network is trying to profit from the legal drama surrounding the stars’ personal lives. For more Seeking Sister Wife updates, follow TV Season & Spoilers.
