Christine has faced some financial issues because she has had to take care of her kids and their poor health. Previously, she struggled to arrange funds when her youngest daughter, Truely Brown, was hospitalized. Later, she had to save up for Ysabel’s scoliosis surgery. However, after both her girls received treatment, the Sister Wives star was finally free of tensions. She has been doing pretty great these days and is hustling to earn money for her family. In the past few months, she has started working for several businesses. Well, she was already a LuLaRoe executive alongside Meri Brown in the past.
But, she is also working with Janelle Brown for her Plexus business now alongside another jewelry brand that she promotes on her social media. Well, she also had a pretty good bonding with Janelle these days. The two Sister Wives recently went on a road trip alongside their daughters, Savanah (Janelle’s daughter) and Truely (Christine’s daughter). The four TLC celebrities even posed for a picture when they visited Universal Studios Hollywood this weekend. However, some fans were shocked to see that Christine was wearing a knee brace in the photograph.
Some of the TV star’s fans showed concern for the knee and wondered if her condition was serious. Well, given that she is traveling, there are chances that she might only have mild problems with her knee. However, people are still concerned for her well-being and are hoping that she gets better soon. One of the fans even said, “I hope there’s not another surgery in that family’s future”. Sister Wives: Ysabel Gives Update About Her Scoliosis Surgery On One-Year Anniversary!
The fact that Ysabel struggled with scoliosis has been featured on the show several times before. However, things became quite serious in the previous season as she finally talked about how much pain she was going through. Hence, her mom decided that Ysabel should finally go for the surgery in September last year. Despite the fact that Christine and her daughter were desperate for the surgery, Kody didn’t go with them because he was quarantined with Robyn. Hence, when the teenager finally went into surgery, she didn’t have her father for support. To date, fans criticize Kody for choosing to let his daughter suffer instead of helping her.
Fortunately, Ysabel has fully healed and does not struggle with scoliosis anymore. Hence, on the one-year anniversary of her surgery, Ysabel opened up about her experience. In her social media post, she wrote, I’ve never felt so pain free,” and added that she felt “in control of my own body (a year later)”. She also shared a picture of her scars from the surgery and offered to answer questions about the disorder. Later on, Christine and several Sister Wives fans expressed that they were proud of Ysabel.
