Sister Wives: Christine Got Scammed Badly, Fell For An Expensive Online Purchase

Christine Brown getting scammed is concrete proof of the fact that even famous TV stars can fall victim to online mishaps. It looks like sad stories are not leaving Christine’s side. In her Car Confessions, she told TLC fans about the negative experience involving Christmas presents for kids. Let’s take a detailed look at it.

Sister Wives: Christine Expresses Disappointment From The Expensive Gifts, Exposes The Scam

Christine let her fans know that she was hunting for Christmas presents when she saw an advertisement online. From the write-up, the Shark tank toy she was looking at was pretty interactive. So, she ordered some toys with the intention to present them to the kids. However, she couldn’t contain her disappointment after opening the parcel. According to her, they were definitely not interactive. Instead, they were cheap plastic sharks with teeth painted on them, as reported by TV Shows Ace.

Apparently, according to the advert, the shark was supposed to make noise when rubbed on the belly. Of course, according to Christine, it was nothing more than just a plastic shark. It was a good thing she crafted a unique homemade gift for her daughter’s baby shower. The creative sister wife presented Mykelti with a homemade diaper tree. It looked like a palm tree with diapers wrapped around it. Outside of the wall of diapers that surrounded the tree, there were soft toys, a teether, and a pacifier.

Sister Wives: Christine Tells Fans To Stay Aware And Avoid Falling For Expensive Traps

She also advised her fans to keep their eyes open. According to her, if something seems too good to be true, in most cases it is. KIFY news issued a warning making people aware of toy scams as the holiday season was nearing. When the popular toys get sold off, scammers come into the picture and coax people into buying products of inadequate quality. The worst part is when a customer has paid for them there is nothing much they can do.

The biggest problem is the website the scammers make look professional. Sometimes they also have original images of a quality product and might even offer a huge discount. They can make customers feel like they have to get the toy. Every year there’s a highlighted toy every kid is crazy about. Looking at that, aunts, uncles, and other family members run after the enticing toy and that’s when scams occur.

The fact that the items were expensive and definitely weren’t worth the cost is disappointing. From now on it looks like the third wife of Kody brown will permanently adopt DIY when it comes to giving presents. Considering all the other problems that are going on in Christine’s life, she definitely didn’t need a scam to make it worse. Yes, we’re talking about the major marriage troubles we saw her struggling with in the trailer for the upcoming Sister Wives season.
