In one of the Sister Wives episodes, David and Christine talked about their future. He joked about what would happen if she had to rely on his income. The conversation came after he joked about his endless Amazon orders. She added that she does think about her overspending habit. Later, she opened up about how she used to spend when she was married to Kody.​

While everything seemed fine, fans found a deeper meaning in the conversation. A user posted about it on Reddit. Some thought he might have hinted at his retirement. A few said her storyline needs stability after her and the Coyote Pass storyline wrapped up. However, a TikTok user wrote that it’s possible David unknowingly revealed the show won’t return after Season 21.

Sister Wives: Is Christine Bad At Monogamy?

In the recent episode of Sister Wives, Christine and David were together—most likely at a spa—when she confessed to him. She told him that Danielle said she is a terrible monogamist. She continued, “She’s like, ‘How independent were you before?’ And I said, ‘Very.’” David added, “Hello, we need to communicate. There’s a lot of things we have to communicate. It’s a whole new world.”

In the confessional, Christine added that Danielle is her sister and usually gives her excellent advice. “She just looked at me. She goes, ‘You are a terrible monogamist,’” she added. Christine further explained that she takes over the whole house. Back in the scene, she told David that it was still hard.

“Marriage is something that you work at,” she added. Christine further said that you have to work at being married or monogamous. She claimed that she is new to this whole monogamy thing. The reality TV star continued that it is very different from polygamy and even more different than being single. “It really is about having this partner and learning how to just rely on somebody else,” she exclaimed.

She told the cameras that it is just a whole new thing to figure out. But no matter what happens, her husband, David, will always be there to reassure her. He told her she’s doing well and that they’re figuring it out together. “So it comes along, we address it and figure it out,” he added.
