Now, she revealed that Kody used a lot of their family fund money for his own use. She elaborated that initially, things were different. However, toward the end of their marriage, Kody spent a lot of their money.
Janelle was Kody’s second wife. She left him in 2022, and since then, she has taken it upon herself to rebuild her life. She recently went down memory lane regarding how Kody used their joint funds. Kody, on the other hand, justified his actions as always. He said that there are numerous expenses for their family of 18 kids, and not every experience is Janelle’s concern.

Sister Wives star Christine is the only one among the Sister Wives who has remarried. She remarried David Woolley and restarted life afresh. On Rogue Energy’s podcast, she revealed that changing names is hard, especially if you are aged. Janelle said that she would never change her name. She elaborated that as all her children are ‘Brown,’ she also intends to remain the same.
Janelle also added that she thought about marrying again. But the thought scared her, given that she had not had the best experience with Kody. At the moment, she is in a happy space and wants it to remain. She does not feel the need to remarry and complicate life any further. Only time will tell if Janelle will find her ‘Mr Right’ in the future. As of now, she is fully focused on her kids and business.

Sister Wives star Janelle has always run her business and contributed to the Brown family’s funds. In the recent episode, she shared that she never has much control over her own money. She explained that everyone had access to the joint account, and all their money went into the same account. She initially thought it would be ‘great’ to have a single account for the plural family, but toward the end, it was tough.
Janelle elaborated that, initially, the entire family contributed to the bills. They decided together how the bills should be paid and who should take the lead. But with time, that stopped. During the last few years of her marriage, Kody would just take out funds without justification. He kept on spending the money—’lots of it.’ Janelle emphasized how Kody would never elaborate on the reason why he was using the funds. She found this behavior very troublesome.
Kody, however, has a completely different take on the matter. He elaborated that he was a husband of four. Janelle wasn’t his only wife. He had 18 children, and there were multiple expenses. Janelle was doing the bookkeeping for the family, which is why she knew about the funds. However, Kody added that not every expense is her lookout. We all know that Kody ‘is never in the wrong!’
