Initially, almost two decades ago, a new cold sore formed on her face. Yet, unlike other ones, this one stayed for long. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all her doctor’s appointments were delayed.
Upon finally getting it checked, it turned out that the blemish wasn’t a cold sore or scar tissue but a type of cancer. Called Basal Cell Carcinoma, the cancer is non-malignant but still needs to be removed. Janelle also assured her fans that she got the lesion removed and is currently doing well.
