In an Instagram post, Janelle Brown shared further details about the progress at her new North Carolina home. On October 5, she wrote, “It doesn’t look like much but it is.” She further added that it was real, tangible progress towards the new chapter of her life. She shared a picture of her 156-acre property and wrote that workers had already poured the driveway and footings for her new house.

“The home I chose and designed exactly the way I wanted,” she added. Brown also wrote that, in many ways, it feels like her first true home. She purchased her previous houses because they suited her big, chaotic family. Janelle also added, “Often reflecting not what I chose or wanted but what worked.” She concluded and wrote that every part of this new home is truly intentional.

Janelle was one of the four wives in Kody Brown’s plural marriage. The ex-couple shares four children together- Logan, 31, Madison, 29, Hunter, 28, and Garrison, who died in March 2024 at the age of 25. Their marriage dissolved in 2022. Later, things started to go south between the former couple, as Kody was estranged from two of his sons by 2023. In December 2024, she posted a reel showing a vast, vacant plot with trees and unpaved roads.

In the post, she wrote that finally, she is putting down some permanent roots. “Doesn’t look like much yet but it will,” she added. Janelle further stated that she likes the wild feel of the place, and now they are planning to preserve many acres in this state for the benefit of the wildlife. The reality TV star tagged her company, Taeda Farms, which she and her daughter, Madison, and her husband, Caleb, founded. Keep coming back to TV Season & Spoilers for more Sister Wives updates.
