Sister Wives is known for showcasing moments that might be uncomfortable for the people involved, but fans all over love it. The showrunners are doing the same in an upcoming episode, only this time it involves Kody, Christine, and her new husband, David. Over the years, fans have seen Kody Brown’s relationships with his former wives go from good to bad.
And now, if Kody has his say, it might get better again. Ever since Kody has announced his apology tour, people are anticipating how the family patriarch would go about doing it. But even the family members have their doubters. Is this apology genuine, or is it arriving far too late to matter? And how does Christine’s new life factor into this unexpected moment? Keep reading to know more.

Ever since the show started, fans have seen first-hand how Kody’s relationship with his family has derailed. However, recent episodes suggest that Kody may finally be confronting the reality of the mistakes he made. This was noticeable especially after the sale of the Coyote Pass property, as the once family members didn’t even acknowledge each other. This involved Kody, Robyn, Janelle, and Meri. Despite the awkwardness, Kody admitted that the silence between them forced him to reflect on his relationships.
Kody started his apology tour and has already apologized to Janelle. In the mid-season trailer, we saw an interaction between Kody and Christine’s husband, David Woolley. The two even did outdoor activities together, including go-kart racing. Christine, meanwhile, remained skeptical. She reminded everyone that previous attempts at rekindling ended in arguments between her and Kody. The two split in 2021 after 25 years of being together.
In the upcoming episode set to air on December 15, we see Kody Brown traveling to Nevada to see Christine. They meet face-to-face, and Kody gives an apology that catches her off guard. Kody sat across from Christine and her husband, David Woolley. He admits regret over how their relationship ended. He acknowledges that he got angry during their breakup and felt he needed to apologize for the difficult period.
Christine later shares that this was not what she expected going into the conversation. While she remains open to talking to Kody, she wants to clarify that these issues are part of the past. Kody, however, insists that apologies still matter, even years later. He then goes on a tangent about the good moments they once shared. Kody then says that his mistakes indirectly led Christine to the arms of David. David heard all that and didn’t decide to react to any part of the conversation.
David even tells Kody that he understands where Kody stands, as breakups can be hard, which Kody appreciates. Fans, however, didn’t feel the same way. While some felt the apology was necessary, other fans dismissed it as a calculated move on Kody’s part. They felt the apologies were meant for the cameras, and he does not really feel accountable for his past behavior. For the latest Sister Wives tea, stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers.
