Season 18 of Sister Wives features the repercussions of Christine and Kody Brown’s split, besides several other issues in their paradise. Sister Wives: Kody Brown Shares His Hatred For Ex-Wife Christine!
Sister Wives star Christine parted ways with then-husband Kody Brown in 2021, and this was featured in the finale episode of the previous season. So, Season 18 features the aftermath of their split. The season premiere ended with Christine and Kody deciding to meet at lunch to discuss their post-split holiday plans and to talk about their daughter, Truely Brown. However, Kody did not want to meet his ex-wife after the split. But the two ended up meeting for their first meeting after they parted ways. They continued to talk about where they stand after the separation in the August 27 episode.
Their conversation turned tense ahead of the Brown family patriarch confessing his ‘anger’ related to their split. Kody added that his ex-wife Christine and her presence doesn’t trouble him. He added that her conversations with their kids behind his back regarding the reasons why she walked away from their marriage bothers him. Christine then defended herself by stating that it was not true. The reality TV star continued that her kids talk about the things they find difficult and that she becomes available for them. This conversation was soon followed by Kody’s suggestion on how they can efficiently navigate their relationship post-split.
Sister Wives: Kody Suggests Breakup Counselling To Make Things Work!
While talking about the reasons for their split, Christine shared that her former husband drifted apart after marrying his fourth wife, Robyn, in 2014. She continued calling her his ‘favorite’ wife. Kody quickly disagreed with her and suggested her to accompany him for breakup counselling. He confessed his desire to find a functional place with her. The father of eighteen kids then added that he desired to reach a place where he doesn’t think and speak low about her to their kids. Christine soon agreed with his suggestion. While talking to the cameras, she shared that he had been talking about counselling for years. Christine then assured the viewers that they would never do it.
The Sister Wives star then shared that for years, she was concerned for him and intended to do anything for the sake of their relationship. Christine continued that she has reached her saturation point and will not do anything for him anymore. Talking to Kody, she expressed that all she wanted from him was a good friendship for the sake of Truely. He then shared in the confession that it is difficult for him to trust her and enjoy her company.
