Sister Wives: Kody Brown Talks About The ‘Failures’ In Plural Marriage!
The entire Brown family is dealing with the changed dynamics in Sister Wives Season 18. Kody Brown reflected on the ongoing estrangement issues with most of his kids besides his split from three of his wives in the Sunday, October 29 episode.
He wondered if his “expecting too much from the family with this one family idea” was one of the reasons for the fragmentation of their plural family. Kody admitted during a confessional that they would have been more successful if all his kids had grown up as cousins.
The Sister Wives star then recalled that they had a “family commitment celebration where we wrote our mission statement.” All of them wrote the mission statement when Robyn entered the brood, but things did not go as planned.
Kody went on to add that what happened to their family was “very sad” to him. He expressed feeling strange at some point in his life and is trying to redefine his life. He later admitted feeling embarrassed to visit church after all that his family had been through.
The cast member confessed that he does not fit into his old religious beliefs and feels that he’s in limbo. Kody feels stuck in his life and thinks that some of his decisions are responsible for his shattered plural family.

A clip from the latest episode revealed the true faces of Kody Brown and his current wife, Robyn. The network asked the Sister Wives stars about their opinions pertaining to the possibility of their family reunion.
The caption of this Instagram upload read, “The Brown family reveals if they would be open to a family reunion.” Meri was the first one on the screen who got candid about the possibility of their family reunion.
Meri said that it would not be “too awkward.” Then, the cameras were pointed at Christine, who also agreed to the idea. She went on to accept the idea for the sake of her kids. Everything was nice and smooth until Kody and Robyn stated their opinions in the video.
The former admitted that he would not be able to cope with Christine after all that she had said about him. While the latter said the reunion would result in more chaos than providing a solution. Lastly, Janelle has agreed with the idea of a reunion.
