Sister Wives: Coyote Pass Has Divided The Brown Family For Years

Sister Wives has followed the Coyote Pass storyline since 2018, when the Browns moved to Flagstaff with hopes of building a shared family compound. But as Kody separated from the three sister wives, the property became a source of disagreement. In the previous episode, Meri opened up about her experience with the property sale. She became emotional and revealed that Kody asked her to sign a confidentiality agreement. This made her feel confused and betrayed.

According to Meri, Kody accused her of always delaying the sale and made it seem like she was the problem. Meri asked him why they needed to make it a secret. She felt she was being silenced amongst all of this. In a separate confessional, Kody claimed Janelle pressured him to either meet Meri’s demands or move forward without her. Kody admitted he even considered a “back door” deal with Janelle to sell the land without Meri and Christine’s approval. But Robyn rejected the idea and insisted the deal had to be fair.

After all the episodes of Sister Wives had aired, it was time for the cast to reunite on the Tell-All. Kody told host Sukanya Krishnan that he was frustrated by the process and only then thought about moving forward with the idea. He said Robyn confronted him over how he handled the business side of the family. Kody claimed Robyn told him she did not like his behavior during the whole ordeal.

He admitted that he was feeling overwhelmed and ready to sell the land first, then distribute the money at his own convenience. According to Kody, Janelle supported the idea because she wanted her share of the money quickly. He also compared how he reacted to both of them. Kody said talking to Janelle energized him, as he still wanted her approval in a way. But with Meri, he always felt uneasy.

He acknowledged that things could have gone ahead if Robyn had not intervened. Janelle later defended herself in the Tell-All. She said that she was moving ahead with the idea as she had been given legal advice. She denied wanting to exclude Meri and accused Kody of twisting the narrative.
