Sister Wives: Maddie Named Her Daughter In Honor Of Her Late Brother
Back in March, Sister Wives star Maddie gave birth to her third child, a baby girl. On March 14, she shared an Instagram post and revealed her daughter’s arrival. In the post, she wrote, “Absolutely worth the wait, Miss Emilia Estelle Brush.” She further added that when her newborn decided it was time, she did not waste a second. “Born on 3/14, she arrived absolutely perfect,” Maddie concluded. The mother of three also shared an adorable picture of her baby girl.
While everyone was thrilled with the arrival of the newborn, the Brown family seemed a little emotional, too. Emilia was born exactly a year after Garrison passed away. Many of his siblings got a tattoo of a quote from Garrison’s favorite movie, ‘Dragonheart,’ which reads: “To the stars, Bowen, to the stars.” On the other hand, Maddie took inspiration from his favorite quote when she named her daughter. The word ‘stella’ means ‘star’ in Latin.

In a recent episode of Sister Wives, Maddie Brown revealed that she and her husband were expecting their fourth baby. The Brown family was exhilarated to hear the good news. But everyone became even more emotional after Maddie revealed something very special to her. She added that her unborn baby’s due date would fall on March 4 or 5.
Well, it is the exact date when her late brother, Garrison Brown, died in 2024. This made everyone emotional, especially Janelle. Fans are very aware that Maddie and Garrison were really close. As soon as she shared the good news with everyone, the Brown family members had tears in their eyes. Christine said that it is exciting news as well as a surprise.
She further admitted that it felt surreal, as the baby was due on the day Garrison passed away. “It’s, like, full [circle],” she confessed. Additionally, Janelle said she was equally excited to welcome the baby. She said that when Maddie told her about the due date, she thought it was cool. “The date of Garrison’s death is her due date, so it’s cool,” Janelle said. It was indeed good news, as the baby’s arrival would lift some sadness from the family.
Furthermore, Christine was clearly vulnerable when she thought of Garrison looking over the new baby. With tears in her eyes, she said, “The idea of Garrison hanging out with one of his nieces.
