The multi-level marketing company, LuLaRoe sells women’s clothing. It is especially known for its bright-colored and uniquely patterned leggings. It was founded by the couple DeAnne Brady and Mark Stidham back in 2012. Over the years, the company became immensely successful, so much so that it reported sales of around $1 billion back in 2016. Meri Brown was amongst the 80,000 independent distributors selling LuLaRoe clothing. However, as Amazon’s LuLaRich reveals, the company started receiving much criticism, topped with lawsuits from its own distributors and customers.

The docuseries investigates the controversy and multiple lawsuits around the company. However, as Meri Brown started receiving criticism and scam allegations after LuLaRich’s release, she called the series “fake news”. While a lot of her fans still stand with her, the TV star has been receiving more and more hatred from people in the past few weeks. As of now, Meri Brown isn’t directly related to any of the lawsuits against the company.
