In addition, her only child, Leo, who came out as a transgender and non-binary a month back, is celebrating their birthday. The Sister Wives celeb took to social media to pay a hearty tribute to their child. So, tune in to know what the mother has to say.

Sister Wives: Meri Brown’s Hearty Tribute To Leon Brown

Unlearning learned things about ourselves is difficult. And Leon Brown garnered the courage to speak up on the matter and publicly announced themselves as transgendered and non-binary last month. Their mother, Meri, is graciously supporting them and has even become an active participant in making people learn about the queer community. Similarly, the Sister Wives was once not aligned with their kid’s personality and true self. However, with time, Meri Brown has learned and happily accepted their child for who they are. So, as Leo celebrated their 27th birthday, mother Meri took to social media to pay a hearty tribute to her child. The first wife shared wholesome pictures of her kid.

The picture series showed how Leo transformed from who they were. Next, the mother added a beautiful caption and meant all the words she wrote. Meri wished her child a “happy birthday” and called them a “miracle.” Then the Sister Wives expressed that her kid has always been a passionate, giving soul and the champion of the underdogs. Not only that, the mother told the world that her kid is a fighter, strong, and wisdom runs in their veins. Meri Brown then expressed that she is blessed to be Leo’s mom and will always love them for who they are. Such appreciation and support meant a lot to Leo, who responded with red heart emojis.

Sister Wives: Coming Out Wasn’t Easy For Leon Brown

Coming out of the closet is never easy. And for Leo, it never was. When they came out to the world, they told everyone about their past self and the struggle they faced being “gendered” and “restrictive.” Long-time viewers assume that the Brown family’s Mormon tradition succumbed to Leo, and so they held back themselves to star in their actual identity. However, someone told them they do not have to have their “sh*t” together to come out to the world. Hence, when Leo finally made a choice, they had several Sister Wives fans and their partner, Audrey, to support them.
