While many would have thought that with the end of Sister Wives season 20, most storylines would be over, it doesn’t seem to be the case. Things are getting confrontational, as hinted in the recent teaser for the One-on-One special. Some cast members spent the latest season trying to make amends, but Meri had been unhinged in her approach. Ever since her separation, she has been supported by her best friend, Jenn.

Jenn was seen supporting Meri again when she called Robyn “submissive.” She implied that, because of this, Robyn was easy to control by Kody, allowing him to make decisions that suited him. Sister Wives: Meri Agreed With Jenn About Why Her Friendship Ended With Robyn

We might be at the end of Sister Wives season 20, but in the premiere, Meri reflected on how her relationship with Robyn slowly failed. Meri opened up to Jenn and acknowledged that the two were once close friends. She felt that when Kody started focusing on just Robyn, she felt a change in their dynamics as well. Meri also acknowledged that many fans believe Robyn manipulated situations. But she didn’t want to put the full blame on her former sister wife. Jenn heard this and gave her own opinion on the matter.

Looking at it from the outside, she felt that while Robyn might not have that intention, it happened naturally as Kody started focusing on just her. According to Jenn, she could see that Robyn presented herself as a supportive member but was also pulling away. This made the situation confusing for Meri. Meri agreed with Jenn and felt she couldn’t have said it better. The reality star also admitted that she once felt secure talking to Robyn. But as time had passed, that was not the case anymore.

Sister Wives: Jenn Says Robyn Is A “Submissive Wife”

As the season has ended, and the time has come for the Sister Wives One-On-One episode, that tension seems to have come to the top. During the preview, host Sukanya Krishnan described Robyn as submissive, and Meri and Jenn agreed. Jenn was the first to say that she agreed with the label. She went on to explain that this worked for Kody as it was easy for him to manipulate family decisions.

But Kody didn’t agree and felt that Jenn’s comment was “bullshit.” This was not the first time Robyn was called submissive by someone. In the season finale, Janelle said something similar on a video call with Meri. She joked that Kody now had a “shy, pretty wife,” stating that these are the words that Kody uses himself.

Janelle later clarified that none of the original wives were “submissive” and thought that Kody seemed to prefer it that way. This divide between Meri and Robyn seems to come from something much deeper. In the teaser, Meri revealed that the money from the sale of her Las Vegas home never reached her.
