Sister Wives: Kody Brown Struggles Just as Much as All His Wives
For the first time on the show, we are hearing the enthusiasm of the polygamous arrangement wither away from Kody’s voice. The fatigue of having multiple marital partners is taking a toll on him, as revealed by Soapdirt. He blatantly stated that he doesn’t want four women constantly bickering him about how unhappy they have been feeling. This is a clear cut sign of things not going well at all! Janelle shared her concerns about the Quarantine and lockdown ripping the family apart. Every member of the family is feeling that stress. The responsibility of catering to everyone is pushing Kody’s buttons.
While we saw Christine breaking down and saying that she couldn’t do marriage with Kody anymore, it’s Meri’s marriage that seems the most stressful. In one scene, Meri and Kody went on a picnic. She asked him whether he would push her away if she would lean over and plant a kiss. Even though the Brown family patriarch didn’t agree on pushing her away, he was pretty hesitant.
Meri and Kody have been married since 1990 and that’s three decades which is a lot! When Kody rejected intimacy with her in Sister Wives season 15, Meri seemed to be really hurt. Meri was wondering how they would work out their relationship if they can’t even talk to each other in person. Janelle pointed out that Kody going from house to house might be a point of concern. Even though the owner of Lizzie’s Heritage Inn said that she is still with Kody after season 14, fans think that season 15 might be detrimental to the relationship.
