Sister Wives star Kody Brown has decided it is time to apologize to everyone he has deeply hurt with his actions. To do this, the reality TV star has planned an apology tour, during which he will visit all his ex-wives and personally apologize to them for the pain he caused. Earlier, TLC revealed the tour’s December schedule.
The promo featured Kody visiting Meri, Janelle, and Christine. Christine’s segment is set to premiere twice, on December 14 and 21, respectively. It will be interesting to watch as Christine appears with her husband, David Woolley, in the scene. On December 7, Kody will visit Janelle. He will then fly to Utah and have a conversation with Meri on December 28.
In a recent episode of Sister Wives, Kody Brown embarked on his apology tour by flying to North Carolina to apologize to one of his ex-wives, Janelle Brown. He said, “I feel like we’ve needed an olive branch—the entire family.” He further explained that he flew to NC to meet Janelle, as she received the “high honor” of being the person he felt safest offering the olive branch to.

Kody explained that he was “sorry for being so angry and bitter over the family breakup,” especially with his former wives. “Nobody deserves to have me be that angry,” he told Janelle. He further shocked her by calling himself a bastard. “I’ve been a bastard for three years about this whole breakup—four years,” he explained. He added that he should not have lied to her about not being in love with her.
“I think the meanest thing that I did was I said I didn’t love you. That wasn’t true. That was a lie from the perspective of pain,” he said. Kody further admitted that he made specific mistakes in the plural marriage. He explained that he should have protected his and Janelle’s special place. Janelle told the cameras that in the first two or three years, she felt the need for Kody to stand up for her, but he did not. “I had to sort of emotionally close down to survive in those early years,” she said.
She admitted that it was all in the past and believes the former couple still care for each other. However, she would not consider him a friend. “He’s not in my life, and I’m not going to be in his life,” she said. But Kody added that he would still seek forgiveness, as he realized, looking back, that everyone was part of something special.
