Well, it was quite a refreshing change for them to see Christine Brown, the former third wife, take charge. That’s because she finally got tired of her husband’s mistreatment and kicked him out of their Flagstaff house. Hence, the new season trailer had the castmate packing Kody’s stuff in the garage. While going so, she admitted that being a sister wife has been “heartbreaking” for years as the star feels he only genuinely cares for Robyn, his fourth wife.
Later on, Janelle Brown, i.e., Kody’s second wife, described his relationship with Christine as an “inevitability” coming instead of “let’s work things out”. Well, she was right as the former wife says to the camera that she decided to “leave Kody”. The scene changes to Meri crying during her confessional, saying that Christine was more than a “sister wife” and a friend for lots of years. Hence, the change is going to be very hard for the family. Well, there are tensions between Janelle and Kody too. That’s because he says that the both of them don’t know how to be “real” with one another.
As a result, Janelle admits that her man is “no longer acting like her husband”. However, Kody stated that he was trying to protect the Sister Wives. However, they “persecuted” him for 18 months. At last, Christine stands up for herself by saying she agreed to be a sister wife and an “equal” wife. Yet, her former husband continued to play the blame game and told her she never tried to build a good bond with the other wives. At last, he yelled at the top of his lungs that he had made “sacrifices” to love her.
