On the other hand, the patriarch didn’t even bother to attend Ysabel’s major surgery, which was the final straw, and his marriage with Christine fell apart. There were moments when they both sensed the absence of a strong father figure in their lives. Yet, it appears that Ysabel and Gwen still hold Kody in high regard and respect him as their father.
On the occasion of Father’s Day, both Gwen and Ysabel shared throwback pictures with Kody. The latter chose to post a nostalgic photo of him carrying her and Breanna on his shoulder. They smiled their hearts out and seemed to be really happy together. On the other hand, Gwen also did the same and wished Kody Father’s Day. She further expressed that she’ll “love” him always. Though David is on the verge of becoming their stepdad, it is evident that for them, Kody will always be their father.
