Sister Wives: Ysabel Reflects On David & Kody’s Relationship!

Sister Wives star Ysabel was initially worried about how David would adjust to the chaotic dynamics and what kind of role he would take in their lives, since they already had a father figure. However, the star kid was really glad that her stepfather never really “oversteps” and doesn’t take up too much space.

Ysabel further revealed that David is really respectful towards Christine and even Kody as well. She explained that Woolley was her mother’s husband, not her dad. This kind of understanding made things really easy for everyone, and they were able to proceed with the dynamics easily. Hence, all of Ysabel’s doubts vanished.

Sister Wives: Are Ysabel & Maddie Still Connected To Kody?

During a recent episode of Sister Wives, Ysabel told the cameras that it was really hard for her to balance everything because her father wasn’t really prevalent in her life. She admitted that she and Kody don’t talk often and aren’t close at all. But this doesn’t mean that Ysabel was willing to leave or disown her biological father at all.

Ysabel openly noted that, despite everything, Kody is her father and she really loves him. On the other hand, Maddie has completely different dynamics. She has had issues with Kody in the past, but now she is open to “forgiveness.” The star kid told the cameras that she was willing to have “reconciliation and forgiveness and just closure.” But when it comes to Kody wanting to have a role in her life, she has some terms.

Maddie believes that Kody should have a “pattern of consistency” if he really wanted to get back into her and her kids’ lives. Even Janelle noted, “It seems so far out there for him to have a relationship with you guys again.” Hence, it is evident that for many Brown kids, Kody’s ship has sailed, and if their father wants his role back, he needs to change his ways.
