Special Forces: Season 4 Had Tensions Rise Before The Finale

The season 4 of Special Forces had set the tone that all the recruits would have to compete in physically demanding challenges. On day eight, the recruits faced a wartime simulation meant to test their ability to work as a team under extreme pressure. They split into groups and navigated the Moroccan desert in complete darkness. The goal was simple on paper but nearly impossible in practice. The recruits needed to find a safe house as enemy forces tried to capture them.

Randall Cobb struggled the most as the simulation became too realistic. After nearly three miles of navigating harsh terrain, Andrew East accidentally led Randall and Gia Giudice into enemy territory. The “enemy” surrounded them and staged a capture, which pushed Randall past his breaking point. He announced his voluntary withdrawal, ending his time on the course just hours before the finale.

Special Forces: Gia Giudice & Shawn Johnson Complete Season 4 Selection

Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test concluded its season 4 finale with only two recruits making it through the grueling final stage. On the last day of camp, Gia Giudice, Kody Brown, Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia, Shawn Johnson, and Andrew East faced the show’s toughest task. It was a mock interrogation designed to break their mental resistance. They created cover stories to protect sensitive information, but the interrogators pushed them to their limits.

Interrogators poured buckets of water over Kody Brown and Brianna LaPaglia, while they repeatedly submerged Shawn, Andrew, and Gia underwater. Andrew struggled the most, and the directing staff removed him for failing to apply the techniques taught during training. Kody followed soon after when he shut down during questioning and refused to respond.

Only three contestants remained afterwards. They were Gia, Brianna, and Shawn, and they now would be buried alive. All this would happen without them being revealed as part of Special Forces. Brianna couldn’t hold it anymore and gave up just moments before time ran out. This left Giudice and Shawn Johnson as the season’s only successful recruits. Both women at the end of the day, celebrated surviving till the end. And both called it one of the most transformative experiences of their lives. For the latest Special Forces tea, stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers.
