Netflix’s animated series, Spirit Riding Free Season 9 is happening. Based on a 2002 movie, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. Dreamworks Animation Television is the producer of this animated series. The show follows a little girl as she makes new friends in a new town and enjoys the adventures. All her friends make a gang and enjoy this new life. What Would Happen?
The show Spirit Riding Free follows Lucky, a twelve-year-old who recently started living in a countryside town- Miradero from a big city. As Lucky seems to be struggling to fit in the school, life turns around when she makes an unlikely friend- Spirit. Spirit is a Kiger mustang. Locals caught this wild horse and brought them to the town to be a broken. However, Spirit refuses to be broken by the locals. Then Lucky and Spirit form an unlikely bond that eventually frees the horse.
Not just Spirit, Lucky be-friends two more kids named Pru and Abigail. Both Pru and Abigail have horses. Pru has a horse called Chica Linda and Abigail has a horse called Boomerang. The trio, along with their horses make a gang and start their journey full of adventures.
The show, Spirit Riding Free follows the adventures of these three friends that are learning to deal with all the new challenges and explore new things. Spirit Riding Free Season 2 will continue to show these girls as they go on new adventures and deal with a number of obstacles.
Spirit Riding Free Season 9: Release Date
The first season of the animated series first released in May 2017 and the second season released soon after in September 2017. The third season then released in November 2017 followed by a fourth season in March 2018. The fifth season of the show then released in May 2018. Then the sixth season of the show premiered in November 2018. The seventh season released in November 2018. Following it was the latest and the eighth season of Spirit Riding Free Season 8 that released this April 2019.
Keeping in mind the release pattern of the show, all viewers had expected that they would get to see Spirit Riding Free Season 9 sometime in 2020. However, that did not happen. This delay might have been because of the ongoing covid pandemic that happens to have delayed everything. Now, hoping for the best, we can expect to see Spirit Riding Free Season 9 sometime in 2021.
Who Is In The Cast?
For the upcoming season of the show, we can expect to hear Amber Frank as he gives his voice to the lead character of the series Fortuna “Lucky” Prescott. Joining him, we can expect to hear the voices of Bailey Gambertogio and Sydney Park who will reprise their roles as Abigail Stone and Pru Granger. These are the main characters that we would definitely get to see on the Spirit Riding Free Season 9.
