Surviving Death Season 2: While reading the name of the series seems quite scary, especially in this time and space, Netflix has brought in a new docu-series called- Surviving Death. As horrid as the name sounds, the show isn’t. In fact, Surviving death is a pretty fascinating show that explores and examines what happens after we die.
We would very easily say that a series like this might not be something that viewers would want to watch right now. However, it does not looks like that is true. The first season of Surviving Death was released in January 2021, and soon after this released, the show climbed on to the Top 10 watched series in the US. Will Surviving Death Season 2 Happen?
While all the avid fans would love to watch Surviving Death Season 2, it looks less likely that we will get it. The show is based on a book with the same title by Leslie Kean. The series investigated paranormal phenomena like near-death experiences, past lives, mediums. While the series isn’t a strict adaption of the book, the source from the book has been used as the jumping-off point.
The show focuses more on personal stories. All six episodes of the series see a number of families and their experiences as they try to communicate with their loved ones. By the end of the season, the show comes to the conclusion that life and death are possibly just a part of a grander existence that humans can’t fully fathom.
Ricki Stern, who acts as the director and the producer of the show, suggests that Surviving Death is quite likely a limited series and will only have six episodes that have already been released on Netflix. Her previous show- Jeffery Epstein, was also a four-part documentary. So, we would say that Surviving Death is just a limited docuseries, and the fans must not be hopeful for more of it.
