Fans had recently heard that Ashley and Bar were not returning for the upcoming season of The Next Chapter. They heard the news from a Teen Mom Instagram fan account. Even Ashley and Bar learned the news from the same source.
People were upset that Ashley won’t be coming back. They were also angrier that Mackenzie McKee would replace her in the show. However, new news reveals that Ashley is returning to the show. But MTV might still be barring Bar (pun intended.)
Teen Mom: Ashley Returns On The Show But Not Bar
Even Ashley and Bar were shocked when they learned they wouldn’t return to The Next Chapter. They also got the news from Instagram, much like the fans. Bar also told the fans that MTV had not told them any news directly. However, there is a new update on the situation. Apparently, Ashley is returning for the new season of the Teen Mom sequel, albeit Alone.
The Ashley confirmed that MTV had contacted Ashley, and she would be returning. However, Bar would still not be a part, and there is a reason behind it. A source revealed that Bar would not return because of an incident during the Teen Mom Family Reunion. To rewind, the network had kicked off Ashley and Bar before they even reached the shooting location. According to a production source, Ashley and Bar had an altercation “while they were at the holding hotel.”
An altercation is normal. However, it happened in front of “some of the higher-up producers.” They didn’t want such a thing to happen again as it had already “happened last season.” Some more things also happened, so the producers fired the couple. However, now Ashley is back. But now Ashley is back again, without Bar. However, he might also return, as a source hinted.
The source suggested that Bar would also come regardless of whether the producers “use his story.” Further, they added that the ban is not “permanent.” Bar had commented on the @TeenMomfanz post about him not returning. He thanked the fans and hoped to see them again. Ashley had also commented, but she had hinted at her renegotiated salary. The Teen Mom star told the fans to “ask” for what they’re worth and “demand it.”
Teen Mom: Does Ashley’s Return Mean Mackenzie Isn’t Returning?
Fans had learned that Mackenzie McKee would be replacing Ashley in the new season of The Next Chapter. However, what does it mean for Mackenzie now that Ashley is back? Apparently, there won’t be any effect. Mackenzie will still be on the Teen Mom spinoff’s “episodes.”
However, Bar isn’t returning as of yet. Though Ashley is coming back, there is no official news of Bar. However, that can change. Recently, the Ashley reports confirmed the filming of the new season is going on. And Ashley’s return won’t affect it negatively.
