Teen Mom stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra have always been very vocal about the adoption story. The duo were mere teens when they first got pregnant with their daughter Carly. After her birth, they gave her up for adoption. Everything was going great until Carly’s adoptive parents, Brandon Davis and Teresa Davis, decided to cut all contact with the duo. Tyler and Catelynn lost their cool and bashed them online.
The Teen Mom couple opted for an open adoption, which allowed them to contact Carly. However, as Teresa and Brandon cut all ties, they had no other option but to respect their wishes. Now, after months of trying, they have finally received an audio and video message from Carly. After the entire fiasco, the couple has decided to apologize to Carly’s adoptive parents. The duo even shared a long note on Instagram.

Teen Mom: Catelynn & Tyler Can No Longer Send Gifts To Carly
Teen Mom: The Next Chapter star Catelynn revealed that Teresa straight-up told their adoption counselor, Dawn Baker, that they blocked Catelynn for their “mental health.” She further passed a few more instructions and told them not to send any more gifts to Carly.
Teresa clarified that Tyler and Cate are now “not allowed to send gifts anymore because it’s uncalled for.” This was very heartbreaking for the couple. Teresa further added, “Tell them they can’t tell anybody I said that.” Catelynn then elaborated that she would expose Teresa’s real face and her absurd orders.
Teen Mom: Catelynn & Tyler Apologize To Carly’s Adoptive Parents!
Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra have had a lot of bad blood with Carly’s adoptive parents, Brandon and Teresa. For two years, Carly’s adoptive parents have excluded them from her life. In many instances, Catelynn has gone online to bash the couple, but now the time has finally come when they have decided to bury the problem. In the recent episode, Brandon and Teresa sent Carly’s song to her biological parents via Dr Drew.
It was extremely emotional, and the couple decided not to telecast it on national television. After the episode, the couple took to their Instagram account to express their confusion about the entire situation. Brandon and Teresa stated that they want to avoid the limelight. Yet, they emphasized their desire for Carly’s song to be broadcast on television. While they felt deeply touched and grateful for the video, they believe it remains a very personal matter.
In their joint post, Tyler and Cate apologized to Teresa and Brandon if they had done anything that intentionally hurt them or disrupted Carly’s life. That was never their intention, but they are clueless as Brandon and Teresa refuse to communicate in any form. Tyler added that they felt very emotional since it was the first time they heard Carly sing. The entire doctor’s part was not their plan, but the production emphasized it.
Later, they learned that Teresa and Brandon were willing to talk to MTV’s producers and Dr. Drew, but not to them. With so many mediators involved, they still feel confused about the entire scenario. They hope that everything will be all right in the near future. They also apologize for anything they might have done wrong.
