Teen Mom: Cory Wharton’s Daughter Goes For Heart Surgery, And He Asks For Blessings
Cory’s daughter, Maya, was diagnosed with heart disease long ago and could be cured only by surgery. Thus, on January 4, the Teen Mom star Wharton took to his Instagram page to update fans on the little girl’s medical issues. He captioned the image in his Instagram stories. The father started off by saying that he had been waiting for this day for a long time. So, whatever he felt was just “unreal.” All he wanted was for his daughter to get better in the “long run.” The father of three shared a short video of holding his daughter with so much love and care at the hospital. The family was preparing for her surgery at 6:41 a.m. During that time, he wrote what he felt in the video’s caption. Cory referred to seeing his child in pain as the most “unwanted and painful thing” for a parent.
There were a series of Instagram stories on Cory’s account where he pleaded to his followers, asking them to pray for his daughter’s health as she had open heart surgery. At the same time, the Teen Mom star also shared a post on Instagram where he wrote a lengthy caption with more details for his fans. The video has a still shot of him with Maya at the hospital. Also, he added that the parents had anxiety for months as they had awaited this very important day. Well, Maya was born with tricuspid atresia, requiring multiple surgeries to cure the heart defect. The celebrity father also told them that his baby would require another surgery as a six-month-old and then later in some years again.
