Teen Mom: The Court Has Decided To Dismiss Ryan & Mackenzie’s Divorce Case

Mackenzie and Ryan got married in 2017. But even after two kids, the marriage didn’t survive. Mackenzie filed for a divorce in 2023, stating Ryan was “guilty of inappropriate marital conduct.” She also claimed there were “irreconcilable differences” between them.

Apparently, Mackenzie had also applied for a restraining order against Ryan. She wanted to be safe from his “erratic and violent” nature. She also wanted to make sure Ryan never got custody of their children. The Teen Mom couple’s divorce case was still going on in court.

But now, the court has reached a decision. They decided to dismiss the case on Monday, January 19. According to TheSun, the court dismissed the case “without prejudice.” The main reason for the dismissal was the case’s inactivity. As the Hamilton County Clerk explained, none of the parties had filed any reports in the last 270 days.

However, Ryan and Mackenzie still have a chance to open it again. The Teen Mom couple can do so in the next 30 days. The clerk did not reveal if the reopening will mean they will have to file the case again. It could also mean that the court will pick up the case where they left it off.

Teen Mom: Mackenzie Had To Call The Cops On Ryan

Ryan and Mackenzie have filed for a divorce. But they are already living separately. And now, there is a new development in their ‘relationship.’ Reports claim Mackenzie had to call the cops as Ryan had tried to stab her.

The Teen Mom star had called the cops on January 31 as Ryan was coming to her house. He had been violent towards her in the past, so she wanted the cops to be on the lookout. Ryan was coming there to look for a random cord. However, even he had called the cops to ask for an escort as Mackenzie had asked him to do so.

But Ryan couldn’t find the cord and left. However, reports claim Mackenzie called the cops back to her house as Ryan had threatened her. She revealed he had sent her a threatening message not long after leaving. The message said that Ryan would be back for his “weapon.”

He had also threatened that Mackenzie’s family would have difficulty finding a new home, as no one would “survive.” But the only weapon in the house was Mackenzie’s “personal pistol.” Stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers to know the latest developments in the Teen Mom stars’ case.
