Farrah Abrahams has a penchant for making headlines. Most often, the headlines are about the Teen Mom star’s parenting practices. But sometimes, she is also in the news for what she does and who she dates. And this was one of the times. Recently, she was sued. The cops had arrested her for misbehavior at a bar. But before that happened, a security official had tried to detain her, and in the process, she was injured. So the guard sued the star. Now, Farrah is clapping back, saying that the injury wasn’t deliberate. She did what she did to defend herself.
Teen Mom: Farrah Did Not Injure The Guard — It Was In Self Defence
A few months ago, a security guard from one of Farrah’s old ‘behavior’ mishap incidents sued her. They alleged that the Teen Mom star had injured her when she was trying to retain her. Let us refresh the incident a little. Farrah had been at a trendy Hollywood bar and hotspot. The star had been causing a scene, which prompted security officials to reach her and try to detain her.
While trying to detain Farrah, one of the officials said that the star slapped her. The security official claims that the slap caused her an eye and face injury, incurring high medical bills. So, she sued Farrah for damages to her life and livelihood. Now, Farrah is clapping back at the security official and the lawsuit. She claims that she didn’t do anything wrong and that the ‘slap’ wasn’t deliberate.
In fact, Farrah stands by her claim that she did what she did in “self-defense and defense of others.” Farrah claimed that she didn’t injure the guard on purpose. She also added that the guard “voluntarily” intervened in the incident, even after knowing the risks. The Teen Mom star demanded the court dismiss the guard’s case. She alleged that the guard took no precautions “to avoid the injuries.”
She said the cause of the guard’s injuries was “her own negligence.” Hence, it wasn’t Farrah’s fault. She filed a response on Monday. The response says the guard, Armstrong, “failed to take reasonable steps” to avoid any “alleged damages” or injuries. Farrah also demands Armstrong pay her the attorney fee and other lawsuit costs.
Teen Mom: Security Guard’s Lawsuit Claims Against Farrah
The security guard who sued Farrah is Megan Armstrong. Well, she had detained the Teen Mom star for “assaultive behavior with other customers” while at the bar. However, Armstrong claimed Farrah had injured her and sued the star. The case documents say the star “struck (Megan) on the side of her face.”
Armstrong’s court documents say the injury led to the loss of wages and continuing high medical bills. She also sued Farrah for “psychological trauma and emotional distress” and a sum of $25000 for surgery and treatments.
