Everyone may recall that she had difficulty conceiving because she had surgically tied her tubes, and for that, she underwent various fertility procedures. Things were even more complicated for her as she is type 1 diabetic. But she did not lose hope and welcomed her twin daughters.

After giving birth, her daughters were in the NICU for ten days. After being in the hospital for nearly two weeks, she took the babies home. Soon after, she also revealed the names of her beautiful twin babies. Now, the reality TV star has spoken about how horrifying placenta abruption can be, as she experienced it during her pregnancy. Teen Mom: Mackenzie Douthit Slams Fans For Criticizing Her Twin Daughters’ Names!

Teen Mom star Mackenzie Douthit gave her daughters beautiful names—Ja’Kharie Angie and Ja’Meikah Angella. However, her audience didn’t agree with her choices. Douthit revealed that after she shared her daughters’ names, she received a lot of hate. She added that those who didn’t like the names slammed her for ruining her twins’ lives. While everyone had negative things to say about the names, no one seemed glad that her daughters were alive.​

She further added that it was Khesanio who came up with the names. Mackenzie said that she wanted him to have this experience. She also noted that people insisted she tell him that these are too ‘Black,’ when she was not. Nevertheless, she loved the names. The reality TV star explained that Hall’s side of the family has certain naming traditions. She even warned Hall about her being white, but they still went along, as they loved the names.

Recently, Teen Mom star Mackenzie Douthit revealed her horrific placenta abruption experience. The reality TV star re-shared a post by Tineke Younger, a famous American chef. Tineke and her partner recently welcomed twins; unfortunately, one of them did not survive. The chef explained that because of her placenta abruption, she lost their baby girl.

Mackenzie reacted to the post and wrote, “This has me broken!” She further wrote that if you are pregnant with twins, all the doctors care about is getting the babies past 36 weeks. “They DO NOT CARE what could go wrong if they stay in,” she added. Douthit continued and wrote that this beautiful twin mom lost her baby because of placental abruption. She revealed that she also experienced it, as both of her placentas had abruption.

She explained that she knew something was wrong, and when she went to Tampa hospital, they looked at her and told her that she needed to be 36 weeks. Mackenzie added that they ignored her pre-eclampsia. “I went straight to another hospital, and as the babies were on the monitor, twin A was starting to lose a heartbeat,” she revealed.

​She explained that it was caused by placenta abruption, and no one thought that a mother could be right about her own body. She wrote that she cried thinking about it. Douthit wrote that if they had pushed her toward 36 weeks, neither she nor the babies would have survived. “This mom is so heavy on my heart today.
