Teen Mom: Mackenzie Feels Rough Since MTV Fired Her From The Franchise
The Teen Mom fans were in for a surprise after massive changes took place in the series. Apparently, MTV took the decision to merge cast members from Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2 into a new show, i.e., Teen Mom Legacy. However, two cast members, i.e., Mackenzie Mckee and Kailyn, didn’t get the opportunity to take part in this. Apparently, this wasn’t the first time such a thing happened to Mackenzie. That’s because she also didn’t appear in the ‘Family Reunion’ spin-off. In fact, a lot of viewers feel such a thing took place after her feud with another co-star, i.e., Cheyenne Floyd.
Well, Mackenzie has lately taken to her social media to express how she feels about the matter, as per TheSun. Hence, she put up a tweet saying it’s been a “rough go” after what MTV and the “OGs” did to her. In fact, the star also talked of “recovering” from death and having “problems” with her marriage. Apparently, she was talking about losing her mother, Angie, who lost her life to stage 4 brain cancer in 2019. As far as her marital life is concerned, her husband, Josh Mckee, ended up cheating on her despite their open marriage. Moreover, she also was unfaithful to him with a 6-month-long affair.
Although she removed the tweet after a while, Teen Mom fans took notice of it. Hence, some sided with her by calling MTV fair. However, there were others too who bashed her for being arrogant and not learning from her mistakes. Well, Mackenzie has not yet reacted to the fans.
Teen Mom: MTV Lied To Mackenzie? Officially fired her?
While Mackenzie didn’t get the chance to shoot for more Teen Mom episodes, viewers have been curious. That’s because there have been no official statements from MTV about her getting fired. As a result, the celebrity gave an interview to spill the beans herself about her absence from the show. When she wasn’t a part of the ‘Family Reunion’ franchise, she accused the channel of not being “respectful” towards her. Hence, it hurt and broke the Teen Mom. In fact, her mother’s cancer battle was also a part of the show. Therefore, her not being part of the series anymore was a heavy emotional blow for Mackenzie.
Apparently, Mckee was “bawling” when MTV didn’t invite her back to shoot. As per her, they also ended up “lying” to her to avoid her in the spin-off. That’s because she expressed being upset about the “lies” and “not being part of the group”. However, the MTV star decided to stay mum about it or else the audience would say she was “jealous”. It turns out that the network told her that only “select people” were joining the new spin-off. Therefore, she quickly claimed that it wasn’t “true”.
