Reality show couples fall apart and get back together every day. Fans see so many headlines about couples that are on-again, off-again. So when rumors started floating about Ryan and Mackenzie, fans were curious. They really wanted to know if the Teen Mom star couple was back together.
Ryan and Mackenzie share two kids. But the couple had split up earlier last year. And now, with the rumor mill churning some new news about the two being the couple, Mackenzie has replied.
Teen Mom: Mackenzie Clears Her & Ryan’s Relationship Status
Mackenzie Edwards and Ryan Edwards were once a married couple. The Teen Mom star pair has two kids together. However, they are no longer together and parted ways in early 2023. But fans saw Mackenzie wearing a wedding ring after the pair split. They also saw her visiting Ryan at the halfway house while he was getting treatment. So they assumed that the romance was back on.
However, Mackenzie is here to set the record straight. She teased their relationship’s status quo with The Ashley’s Reality Roundup interview. Mackenzie said, “For 2024”, she and her kids “are going forward, not backwards.” This indicated that she won’t be getting back with her ex, Ryan, again. But fans still questioned why she had posted a video of her, Ryan, and their daughter Stella on her Instagram story.
Mackenzie’s story was a video of her, Ryan, and Stella at a Hibachi restaurant. The star clarified that it “was an old video”. She also pointed out that Ryan was “wearing his wedding ring in the video because” they “were married at the time.” She had posted it because Monday was Stella’s birthday. But she has now deleted the video.
Adding to the evidence of no romance, Mackenzie had also changed her last name in her Instagram profile. It is now her maiden name – Standifer. So maybe the Teen Mom stars are never getting back together. Mackenzie said she and Ryan “don’t speak” as Ryan’s girlfriend feels “it’s disrespectful toward(s) their relationship”. But the star “hope(s)” they can “reestablish communication” so they “can co-parent” the kids.
Teen Mom: Ryan Gets Free From Jail Before Christmas!
MTV star Ryan Edwards was in Jail on Judge Gary Starnes’s orders. The reports said that he would spend his holidays there as well. But now news arrives that the star got out of jail on December 23, 2023. According to The Ashley, Judge Starnes got the star out “as soon as possible” by giving release.
When the fans heard the news, they felt angry. Many had not expected Ryan to get out of jail this early or this easily. They believed the star’s family might have “paid the Judge a little Christmas tip.” Few fans even commented about Ryan’s “privilege”.
