Ryan Edwards is having a hard time over several accusations, and a few were even proved right. Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page shared the arrest of the reality-tv star. The post stated that he was detained during the day for stalking and violating the order of protection. These sheriff’s offices made the statements in a press release. Although, they did not report on any further details, citing none. The alleged domestic abuser Ryan Edwards shared intimate pictures of his wife and contacted her father. He called to ask her father to inform her that he would come by to take his belongings.
The Tennessee court confirmed that the Teen Mom alum has two active warrants for his arrest filed on February 23. The incident occurred two days after Mackenzie called it quits with Ryan by filing for a divorce. The police arrested him on February 10, 2023, over accusations of harassment, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, and order of protection violation. The officials held Ryan Edwards over a $5,000 bond after arresting him from his employment. The court was previously going to hear the case on February 27, 2023, at 1:30 pm in Tennessee’s Hamilton County Court.
However, the former couple’s hearing for a restraining order has been delayed, the dates of which are unknown. In the February 8, 2023 petition, Mackenzie described a fight between the couple that took a violent turn. She stated that he was angry and punched holes in the walls as well as the doors. Further, he also held her by the neck to the wall and smashed her down in the hallway. Moreover, he passed a statement saying, ‘if I cannot have you, no one can.’ Ryan Edwards also pointed a pocket knife toward his wife’s back like he would kill her.
