They both have broken up but are cordial and co-parent. A while back, Cory announced on social media that the makers had not given the new season a green light.
So, the show’s future is uncertain. He explained that Mackenzie McKee announced her pregnancy on The Drew Barrymore Show. If there had been another season, MTV would never have allowed that. Maybe he is dropping hints as he can’t share details per the NDA.
