In her book, Hilaria shared that once, she almost decided to leave Alec. In 2015, after the birth of their second child, Rafael, she wanted to divorce Alec. She further revealed that it was because of The Baldwins stars’ workaholic nature. He would often leave her alone and go to work.
Moreover, they used to fight a lot. She was frustrated taking care of things alone. The situation got worse when he received calls and answered emails while she was in labor. She was adamant that she wanted to leave him, but decided to take a few moments and think. She decided to give the marriage a second chance and work on the issues.

However, in another Instagram video, she revealed that her husband and co-star from The Baldwins, Alec, has not even seen her book.
This was quite controversial as Alec has always been very supportive of his wife. Hilaria opened the package and told Alec he had not seen her book yet. Alec was shocked by Hilaria’s words and tried to defend himself. However, Hilaria emphasized that he was lying and that he had not yet seen her book because this was the first time she was seeing her book. She revealed that the publication just sent her the first copy of her book.
She then crawled towards Alec and handed him her book. Alec was surprised by the cover. The cover had their family picture, and his mouth was taped.
