In a pleasant twist of the tale on The Bold and The Beautiful, Bill isn’t really in love with Sheila. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. He loathes her so much that he is willing to go millions of extra miles to permanently put her behind bars. Bill and Ridge’s coupe to trap Sheila by recording an incriminating confession has been going splendidly well, barring the latest glitch. But was it really just a glitch? Or was it a sign of a much bigger mess-up that could be waiting right around the corner?
FBI’s Technical Glitch Ruins The Set-Up
Ridge and Bill along with the FBI have Sheila Carter under 24X7 surveillance on The Bold and The Beautiful. The duo is hoping that, at some point, Sheila will let her guard down and spill some of her secrets to Bill. Thus, giving them a recorded confession of incriminating details about the various crimes she has pulled off over the decades. However, Sheila has kept her lips sealed till now. But Bill has fast-tracked the plan and proposed Sheila for marriage. He is also pushing her to fess up anything she is keeping in her heart, as he wants no secrets between them.
However, in the recent The Bold and The Beautiful episode, when Bill and Sheila were bang in the middle of a conversation, something went awry. Right when Sheila started to say something of value, the lights flickered due to some glitchy FBI equipment installed. She got distracted and the train of conversation halted. Thus, throwing the chance of getting an incriminating evidence on record sideways. Bill and Ridge might pacify themselves thinking it was one of thing, and won’t pay much attention to it. But what if it’s not an isolated event? What if it was a preview of what’s to go wrong next?
Bill Misses The Opportunity, Sheila Escapes
Bill and Ridge might fret over Sheila’s halted confession on The Bold and The Beautiful. But their irritation over missing the chance to hear what Sheila had to say might lead them to overlook a bigger problem. They might not pay attention to the glitch of repeating itself. And that might end up becoming their biggest undoing as far as their ploy is concerned. Even if Bill manages to get Sheila talking again and she spills a few beans, they may face the horror of the recording equipment misfiring!
Sheila might spill it all, and the recorders would end up not picking a single word on The Bold and The Beautiful. Moreover, if the glitch becomes more noticeable such as more flickering lights like before or even a short circuit, it might raise Sheila’s suspicions. She already feels as if Bill is somehow on to her. Thus, she might start snooping around and come across the cameras and other recording devices. This would be enough for her to know what Bill is up to.
This will not only make her retrieve, but also put Bill in grave danger. Sheila is an expert in escaping and going into hiding! History is proof of that!
