Hope has become tragedy’s favorite child on The Bold and The Beautiful. Every few days, a new hurdle emerges in her route, and she just can’t seem to do away with any of them. First, she lost her son, Douglas’s custody, then her jewelry line’s success. Now her whole career is at stake, and the only man that can save her from sinking professionally is, Thomas Forrester.
The very man who caused her to lose Douglas’ custody. In fact, the very man who is the root cause of most of her problems. However, Hope recently decided to look past all of that and re-hired him to save her line at Forrester Fashion. But will Douglas understand the difference between his parents’ professional and personal lives? Or will he look at this as an opportunity to bring them together by cutting Liam out?
Hope Rehires Thomas, Jilts Liam
Hope had some really tough decisions on her plate on The Bold and The Beautiful. She had the testing task of deciding whether or not to forgive the Forrester black sheep, Thomas, and rehire him, or let her HFTF sink. After much contemplation, Hope decided that a lot had gone into the jewelry line, and it was indeed worth saving. However, she didn’t make it easy on Thomas. She had her conditions in place for him. She made it clear that he must apologize to Brooke for what he did, and he obliged. Following that, Hope took him back on board as a designer for her jewelry line.
While this was a tremendous professional decision for her on The Bold and The Beautiful, the same cannot be said for her personal front. As soon as Liam found out about it, he was livid. As anyone would expect him to be, given everything Thomas has done so far. In fact, his reaction was so harsh and heated that it left Hope in literal tears. Now we wonder if the tears came with some tears too!
Tears in their relationship, we mean. Liam’s hatred for Thomas is far greater than his love for Hope’s professional aspirations. That much was clear from his stance in the previous episode of The Bold and The Beautiful. Will Hope be able to convince Liam to look past Thomas and concentrate on her and the line? Moreover, will her son, Douglas, be able to do the same? Or are we about to see him go in to a parent-trapping frenzy?
Douglas Breaks Up Liam-Hope In An Attempt To Bring Hope-Thomas Together On The Bold And The Beautiful
Liam is at his wits ends by Hope’s decision to rehire Thomas on The Bold and The Beautiful. In complete honesty, Hope herself is probably not a huge fan of her decision either. But it was either that or seeing Hope For The Future sink. And Hope chose the former, the lesser of the two evils perhaps. However, there is one person who is exceptionally happy with this turn of events. It’s none other than Hope and Thomas’ son, Douglas. The little boy was torn at the idea of having to choose between his parents and not wanting to hurt either of them, he decided to choose Steffy. But now that he is seeing them both working together like before, his hopes for a united family are renewed.
It’s not like Douglas wasn’t happy in his life with Hope and Liam at the cabin on The Bold and The Beautiful. But once he had the experience of living with his bio dad, Thomas, he just realized that he preferred him over Liam. Which is only natural for a child. The latest spoilers tease that in the upcoming episodes, Douglas will ask Thomas about living and working together again with Hope. It seems like the little boy is about to do what Thomas did with Ridge and Taylor! Without the evil plotting, of course! But we can surely gear up to see Douglas try and deepen the cracks that Liam’s outrage has caused in his marriage with Hope. Do you think it would end up pushing Hope closer to Thomas?
