Right now, his alter-ego, Deacon Sharpe, is involved in a storyline with Brooke Forrester. Brooke and Deacon kissed on New Year’s Eve after getting drunk. Ever since then, they had been trying to hide the secret.
However, in the current storyline, the truth is out, and it has caused a lot of trouble in Ridge and Brooke’s marriage. They are almost on the verge of breaking because Ridge, on some level, feels that Deacon and Brooke are involved.
Brooke and Deacon’s daughter- Hope, feels that all of this has happened because of her. Hope was the one who wanted to build a relationship with Deacon. Brooke was wary of it since the start. But, Hope pushed for it, and now she regrets all of it.
Brooke and Ridge are over because of everything. The latest spoilers suggest that Brooke and Ridge will have an emotional goodbye. While Ridge will decide to move on and reunite with his ex-wife Taylor, Brooke will still be hopeful of a reunion with Ridge down the line. Seeing Brooke hopeful, Hope will also do something.

There is speculation that she might ask Deacon to leave the town altogether. Hope will feel that if Deacon is out of the canvas, that will increase the chance of Brooke and Ridge’s reunion.
