The Falcon and the Winter Soldier started airing on television on March 19 this year. The show has successfully incorporated many MCU faces, including the Civil War villain Baron Zemo, Sharon Carter, and General Rhodes’ War Machine. Watching familiar appearances makes the series more homely. Besides, it also brings back nostalgia from the Phase Four Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Hence, the show maker Malcolm Spellman released a statement this weekend. In it, he hinted about a certain cameo in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode 5. He stated that “there are characters in our series who I would love to see partnered with like — it’s a very, very grounded character — partnered with one of the big world-shakers like Thor or someone like that. The personality is so strong, it’s the episode five character. I’d love to see that character with Thor.”
Is IT She-Hulk? Steve Rogers? Or Yelena Belova?
After this, the entire internet started looking for all the comic characters that the MCU missed out on previously. The potential names that came up were Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Screenrant reported. The list also includes Tatiana Maslany as the green lady She-Hulk, which will be quite an interesting addition to the new show.
But it is still hard to find out who the ultimate character would be. Some believe that this mysterious character might be someone from Bucky’s clan with serum-induced super-soldier abilities. Moreover, some die-hard fans also believe that this cameo character might be a member of the Thunderbolts comic book cult.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Episode 5: What Will Happen Next?
In Marvel’s mini web series, Bucky and the Falcon are on a mission to hunt down super-soldiers that go by the name of Flag-Smashers. The show captures the rendezvous of the new Captain and Soldier Barnes as they look for the bad guys. But, in their way, comes Baron Zemo, who might just recreate the serum which initially made all the soldiers lethal.
In the last episode, we saw tensions brew to their highest levels as Zemo escapes once again while the Avengers are busy tackling the Flag-Smasher. Now, all eyes are on the duo to know how they will catch back the Sokovian man and prevent him from making the serum again. Well, the stakes have never been this high in TFWS.
