October 31st is Halloween, and it is time for the world to play ‘dress-up’ in the most iconic ways. The kids are excited about the costumes and the candy, and this, in turn, becomes a ‘task’ for the parents to keep up with.
So, it is no surprise that, yet again, The Kardashian family went above and beyond. One might even say they went “to lengths to get” unique things. Kim Kardashian dressed up in a joint costume with her daughter, North West, and the fans are anything but ‘Clueless’ about it.
The Kardashians: Kim & North Are Now Cher & Dionne
In classic Kardashian fashion, the SKIMMS owner went all-in with the ‘dress-up’ part of Halloween. Sweetly, though, she roped in her daughter for a joint costume, and the mother-daughter duo dressed up as characters from the iconic 1995 film, ‘Clueless.’
Kim Kardashian dressed as the lead Cher Horowitz from the cult classic, Emma-inspired, 1995 film ‘Clueless’. So, she wore the character’s signature yellow-striped blazer and skirt and a matching vest with a short-white tee.
To top it off, Kim had on a blonde wig, knee-length stockings, and white heels. She finished the look with a fuzzy white backpack, a gold ring, and minimal, neutral make-up involving nude lipstick.
Then there was the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star’s daughter, North West, who was seen in a black and white plaid outfit and a statement hat. For anyone trying to guess, she was dressed up as Cher’s best friend, Dionne Davenport. A mother-daughter duo dressed up as best friends – how cute is that?!
Much like our reaction, the audience and fans of Keeping Up With The Kardashians were awed by the look. When Kim posted a picture carousel of the Halloween dress photoshoot with North, the fans were ecstatic. The carousel was captioned – “Clueless,” and one of the pictures even had the 47-year-old entrepreneur recreating the iconic “Ugh as if!” dialogue by Cher.
The photos went viral, as usual. One of the Instagram fans commented – “Why did Northie EAT in every photo! This is perfection.” Another comment read – “Beyond!!! You girls are perfection!” Some fans were amazed that the mother and the daughter looked the same age. The post had over 1.7 million likes, and the fans couldn’t stop gushing over the fabulousness.
The Kardashians: Kim’s Halloween Decorations Deemed ‘Tasteless’ By The Fans
Much like her outfit for the night, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star had put a lot of effort into her house decorations as well. And to share it with the fans, she gave a house tour on social media. But the fans seemed less than thrilled with her taste in the festive décor.
Kim’s Calabasas mansion seemed something straight out of a Roman catacomb, as every nook and cranny had skull and bones. In the house tour, fans could see freaky decorations like hands protruding from the ground and walls covered with cobwebs. Moreover, down the dark corridor, one could see hooded figures without faces sitting along the walls. At the end of the corridor was a full moon.
To up the ‘freak-factor’, there was a table with severed hands, blooded eyeballs, and toxic chemicals-ish kind of thing. Kardashian fans guessed this was inspired by ‘Saw’. Another haunting movie inspiration was from Disney’s Phantom Manor, as one corner of the house seemed decorated in its likeness.
The viewers were disturbed by the decorations, calling them “appallingly senseless not to mention tasteless”. Moreover, they point out that the celeb family was out of touch with reality and that the house looked like it came out of a nightmare. For more news updates, check out TV Season & Spoilers.
