It was sewn onto the chest of the velvet dress. She completed the look with gold-toed shoes and a croc skin bag. The Kardashians star carried the head cut out while she sat at the front of the fashion show. In the Instagram post, she wrote, “Beauty and the Beast”. Additionally, the mother of two thanked Daniel Roseberry and Schiaparelli for a special morning. Further, she stated that she loved wearing the faux art collection which was created by hand.
Designers created the lion cut out using manmade materials and quoted the head beautifully. While she seemed happy and content with her look, critics slammed her for the choice. Out of the thousands of comments, most of them criticized her for the look. The Kardashians fans also took to Reddit to discuss the controversial dress. A user wrote acknowledging the fact that even though it was a fake lion head; it was jarring. Another said that it was saddening since how it did not remind someone of a beheaded lion. Further, the user stated that wearing a lion’s head like a trophy is cruel.
Another scathed that it gave taxidermy realness. Others criticized stating that he does not like the outfit. Although it is fake, using animals purely for fashion is just wrong. Another Redditor took to the platform and explained that all of the Schiaparelli heads are human-made. They are hand-sculpted and the process is very impressive. However, nobody bought it and believed that it was disgusting and unacceptable.
