The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 was supposed to start production for the series in the summer of 2020. However, everything was delayed when COVID-19 happened and pushed back all the schedules. Back in October 2020, the creator of the show Amy Sheran-Palladino announced that they were planning to start production for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 by January 7.
Now, the lead actress of the series Rachel Brosnahan who plays the character of Midge, confirmed that they are all back on sets for the upcoming season. Brosnahan took on to Instagram to confirm the news. The whole Maisel team has started production in New York. Recently, she posted another picture that gave fans an insight into how they are working in these tough times. In an interview with Deadline, the creator Amy and the executive producer Daniel Palladino revealed that they are not relying on extras this time. They are doing that for safety reasons. In an interview with Parade.com, Alex Borstein, who plays the character of Susie Myerson, says that she does not have anything and knows nothing; she said that Amy knows everything about what’s happening. Borstein says that she might know tiny things, and she would be slaughtered if she told anyone about them.
Continuing on, Alex says that she does not even know Susie’s arc at the moment. She has no idea what would happen in terms of the major storylines. It is unlikely that the Weissman’s will be able to get back to the Upper West Side like back.
In the interview, Caroline says that as the show moves into the 60s, which they almost did by the end of the third season, Moishe and Shirley’s world will come crashing. They will have to live in a very, very different world. Midge will bring new this world to the family, and it would only get harder for everyone else.

The real Lenny Bruce died because of a morphine overdose in L.A. back in 1966. When he died, he was dating the comedian Lotus Weinstock. If somehow Weinstock has helped in the construction of the character, we will get to see that.
