Season 2 of The Witcher is in buzz again after the officials released a number of sneak peeks from the upcoming season. In a series of tweets from the official handle of The Witcher, fans saw the photos of Geralt, Ciri and Yennefer.
The Witcher Season 2: What Happened So Far?
The first installment of The Witcher ended with the episode “Much More”. In the battle for Sodden Hill, a number of mages were killed at the hands of Nilfgaard and Fringila. Fans witness the epic moment of Yennefer’s powers unfolding as she lets out a huge stream of fire that ends the entire battle.
Geralt is in the woods saving a farmer from monsters. In the fight, he gets wounded and falls unconscious. In his dreams, he sees his mother Visenna, and his mentor Vesemir. The farmer takes Geralt to the farm where he also finds Ciri. But before meeting Ciri on the farm, the two already has a meeting in the woods when Ciri fell into a trance. What happened next is still a question.
What to Expect?
A massive production has gone into place to create the second season of this show. After a number of shutdowns in shooting, the show is finally prepared to be aired. Fans are all ready with their fan theories to bet on their favorite characters. What they do know from the original sources is that the show will kick off from a “Bloody Start”.
It is confirm that Bart Edwards (Duny) and Gala Mondadori are back to sets. They will be working with director Ed Bazalgette for the fifth or eighth episode of the new season. This confirms the possibilities of our characters returning to the Cintran world either in flashbacks or in dream sequence.
Tom Carton, who plays Elven King Filavandrel, confirmed that Joey Batey has finally joined the cast as Jaskier. His arrival has intrigued fans to root for the Filavandrel-Jaskier rivalry in Season 2.

The official Netflix news confirmed the new season of The Witcher to arrive this month. With just a fortnight left of March, fans are hopeful to see a new trailer in the next few days. Though working in the times of a pandemic can lead to some delays.
