The veteran actress Barbara Crampton plays the character of Leanna Love on The Young and The Restless. Recently, Barbara spoke to Soap Opera Digest about her upcoming return to the CBS soap. The talented star gushed about how wonderful it was to be back on the set. She got a chance to reconnect with all the people from the show she hadn’t seen in a long while. Moreover, Barbara added that everyone was extremely warm and welcoming of her.

Barbara added that she had lines with almost every character of The Young and The Restless. It is a big 50th-anniversary celebration party so everyone will be seen interacting with everyone. Furthermore, the gorgeous actress shared a rather interesting snippet about her return for the special episode. The Young and The Restless had previously approached her to return to the soap for a cameo. However, she declined because she did not want to leave San Francisco and go to L.A. for a stint.
But things changed after a period of time. Barbara shared that when she read online that The Young and The Restless is celebrating its 50th anniversary, she asked her agent to call and ask if they’d be open for her return. And, of course, their response was a very excited yes! Barbara admitted that she wanted to return for the celebrations because The Young and The Restless and her character (Leanna Love) is her most favorite character she has ever played.
Talking about her filming experience, The Young and The Restless actress shared that they have to come performance-ready now. Her first scenes were with Peter Bergman and Susan Walters. They were supportive of her and agreed to run lines with her. However, she also ran her lines with her husband over a hundred times and also filmed herself on her phone before finally delivering.
