The Young and The Restless star posted a video talking about his journey and thanking his fans for all the love he has received so far. In the video, Jason recalls his role as Dr. Drake on ABC soap General Hospital. He stayed on the soap for a whole decade before moving on to the role of Billy Abbott on The Young and The Restless.

Jason has been walking the streets of Geona City as Billy for seven years now. He expressed his gratitude for still working in the industry. As his journey continued from General Hospital to The Young and The Restless. The talented star credited all of the success to his fans. He stated that he wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for his fans and the daytime viewers. Furthermore, Jason revered his 17 years journey and hoped to stay on screen for another 17 years! So there is nothing to fear you guys! Jason Thompson is NOT leaving Y&R. He still has many good years and many incredible stories to tell on the famous CBS soap.
Jason’s fans and followers soon flocked to the comments section of his video to express their love for him and his characters on the soaps.
