Life has been really rough for Diane in the past few weeks on The Young and The Restless. She was already living in constant terror of Jeremy Stark, but her whole world turned upside down when she had to take the fall for a crime she never committed. Diane Gets Released From Jail
Diane had sort of resigned to her fate on The Young and The Restless. She was ready to accept a life behind bars and wanted to break off her engagement to Jack. However, Jack went on to prove that his love for Diane is genuine and unwavering. Not only did he pacify her and gave her courage, he even managed to get her out on bail with Michael’s help. Now, the team is working towards getting Diane exonerated once and for all from the charges she is facing.
On the other hand, the supposedly dead Phyllis is obviously very much alive on The Young and The Restless. However, she has no intentions of coming out in the open just yet. Although Phyllis feels guilty for the pain, her scheme has caused her children, Summer and Daniel. She obviously doesn’t feel the same way about Diane’s imprisonment. Phyllis hates Diane’s guts so much on The Young and The Restless, that any punishment the latter suffers feels less to Phyllis. Thus, Red will feel like Diane is getting away too easily. But the fact of the matter is, if Phyllis wants to return home, she will have to let go of the dream of seeing Diane behind bars for her fake murder. However, that doesn’t mean Phyllis will drop her quest for revenge. She might in fact use her fake death to her advantage for as long as she is in hiding!
