The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, July 19, 2022, relays Phyllis’ plan to avenge Diane for stealing Jack from her. Phyllis, Nikki, And Ashley Hatch A Plan
In a strange but inevitable twist, we saw the coming together of Nikki Newman, Phyllis, and Ashley in this episode of The Young and the Restless. The three women have united with the common aim of driving Diane Jenkins out of Genoa City. We saw Diane flaunting her new job and connection with the Abbott family.
The women were not happy to see this and decided to do something about her. Diane caught on when Phyllis tried to chat up Allie and Noah. They left, and Diane pushed Phyllis’ buttons further by using Jack’s granddaughter to get in with the family. But now, these women won’t leave her alone. So, Diane better watch her back.
The Young And The Restless Recap: Adam Makes The Ultimate Sacrifice For Sally
In another part of town, viewers saw Victoria talking to Nick in her office. They are worried about Sally and her position at Newman Media. After Victoria suggests it, the family decides to get rid of Sally altogether. And Nikki lets Victoria and Nick do the difficult job of informing Sally.
Meanwhile, Adam tried to stop Sally from hugging him at Newman Media. Adam admitted that he was going to Chicago since he wanted to spend some time by himself. Now, he is questioning everything in his life, and he feels that Sally is the one in between him and the life that he wants.
Sally was absolutely dumbfounded. Adam continued to give reasons saying Sally is the reason why Victor disrespects him. He further declared that he never really loved Sally all that much. It dawns on Sally that Adam might be doing this to protect her CEO position, but he rejects all such claims. Sally is in utter shock in this episode of The Young and the Restless.
After this, Adam walked out of the office and ran into Victoria and Nick. All three of them witnessed Sally’s breakdown and are worried for her. Adam leaves, and Victoria and Nick hear Sally talk about her work at Newman Media. Nick is very impressed with her vision and asks Victoria to reconsider their decision to get rid of her.
Ashley Meets Jake At The Coffeehouse
Meanwhile, before Ashley met Phyllis and Nikki, she had met someone at the coffeehouse. Turns out, she met her brother, and the two of them had a chat about Phyllis. Jack tried to move away from the topic, but Ashley insisted on it.
After much convincing, Jack told Ashley that things got messy with Phyllis because she wouldn’t let go of her obsession with Diane Jenkins. He is surprised to see that his sister understands what happened. Moreover, not only did she understand the situation, but she also reprimanded him for being too easy on Diane after all that she had done. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS.
