The Young and The Restless recap reveals that Wednesday’s episode of the CBS soap was full of family fun and drama. This episode was about family discussions, and some characters were seen walking out on their relationships.
First, the whole Abbott family got together and discussed Allie. Then, Allie met the buyer of her father’s house while Ashland talked to Nate about their friendship. The March 23, 2022 episode also witnessed the Newman family’s intervention where Victoria finally realized the truth. What was all that about? Keep reading to find out.
Abbott Family’s Discussion
Starting off, the episode saw Traci Abbott and Billy picking up a box of pastries while Traci praised Billy for his podcast. Then, the brother-sister duo went to the Abbott mansion to get updates from Jack. In the meantime, Jack told Phyllis about meeting Keemo’s sister, Mai. Mai told Jack that she had nothing to do with texts and was just as confused as Jack.
As soon as Jack and Phyllis were done discussing this mystery, Billy arrived at the mansion with Traci and brought up the Allie discussion. Billy told Jack that they should reach out to Allie as she could use their support after losing her father.
Even though Phyllis supported Billy’s idea, Jack was afraid of pushing too hard. Viewers saw Jack being torn overall, but he also suggested that the mystery texter might bring some help one day.
The Young And The Restless: Allie Meets Taylor
Speaking of Allie, she talked to Tanya, the real estate agent, about the sudden sale of the house. Even though Allie would be upset about selling her father’s house, Tanya told her that all of this would be done in cash.
Tanya also added that the buyer’s only condition is meeting Allie. In a moment alone, we saw Allie talk to her dad and suggested that the house is no longer her home without his dad. All of this made Allie upset, and she left in a rush.
Furthermore, Tanya reminded Allie that the buyer insisted on meeting with Allie in person, and she’s already there. Meanwhile, a woman named Taylor introduces herself to Allie and tells her that she’s happy to meet her. TV Season & spoilers previously suggest that Diane Jenkins is back from the dead and she will be using the name of “Taylor”. Taylor met Allie, and she is allegedly the buyer of Keemo’s house.
Ashland Talks To Nate
Furthermore, the spoilers suggest that Ashland approached Nate and talked to him about still being friends. But, Nate argued that they were never really friends and told Ashland that he showed all the evidence to Newmans. In addition, Elena also lashed out at Ashland for creating a mess everywhere in Genoa city.
Then, Elena tried calming Nate down and reassured him that his heart was in the right place. Elena also highlighted that it is crazy to think that Ashland had genuine feelings for Victoria after breaking her heart like this. Nate added that anyone who can deceive their lover is not capable of loving anyone.
The Young And The Restless: Newman Family’s Intervention
Later in the episode, Victor launches an intervention for Victoria. But, Victoria told everyone that all of this seemed like a coordinated attack on her marriage. She also added that she might ban everyone from her family if needed, but Adam stepped up and told her that she was not being fair to her mother and father.
On the other hand, Victoria felt that this was all about business, but Nick informed her that their father wouldn’t do something like this just for business. It looked like Victoria was blindsided by Ashland and ranted about his family not supporting her at all.
Next, Nikki Newman lashed out at Victoria and told her that there was no reason to want Ashland gone. But, the evidence against him is solid, and then they hand over all the proof to Victoria that they received from Nate.
Victoria still doesn’t believe her family and felt like his whole family had created fake documents to attack Ashland. She declared that she’s leaving for Tuscany with Ashland immediately and would run the company herself from there.
Victoria Finally Realizes The Truth
When Victoria tried to leave, Adam blocked her path. Adam told Victoria how he had gone through the same situation with Chelsea when she tried blaming Adam for poisoning Rey. Soon after, Ashland joins them, and Victoria confronts him about the same; she shows him all the evidence from Nate. But, Ashland doesn’t answer any questions.
He argues that he cannot keep fighting anymore, and walks out. After Ashland leaves, Victoria realizes all the accusations against Ashland are true. Victoria broke down in her mother’s arms and looked devastated and heartbroken.
While this episode was full of drama, The Young And The Restless spoilers suggest that the next episodes will bring more action. Y&R characters are in for many confrontations in the upcoming weeks.
