The Young and the Restless recap for Monday 18, 2022, tells the story of Phyllis’ plan to take down Diane. In the episode, we saw Phyllis make a plan with Ashley and Nikki. Their aim is to get Diane out of town. In another part of town, Diane is working with Michael in order to get Ashland arrested. Summer suspects that Diane may be colluding with Ashland.
In the meantime, we saw Adam make the ultimate sacrifice of breaking up with Sally. He realizes that after his fallout with the family, the only way she can continue to do her job is if the family believes they have broken up. Victor may fire Sally anyway as he thinks she is no good without Adam. What more happened? Here is all about it.
Phyllis Wants To Take Diane Down
The Young and the Restless spoilers from Monday reveal that Phyllis is long past her promise to maintain peace with Diane. Now, she is more determined than ever to have her out of Genoa City. Moreover, Phyllis wants to do this without being held responsible for it.
Now she can’t do all of this alone. In this episode, we see her seek the help of two other women who want to get rid of Diane as much as she does. Nikki Newman is Diane’s arch-nemesis, previously accused of killing Diane. In addition to her, there is Ashley Abbott as well, eager to find a purpose in Genoa city. Moreover, Ashley will want to do everything she can to protect Jack from Diane. So, these women will team up.
The Young And The Restless Recap: Michael And Diane Have A Plan
Meanwhile, talking about Diane, in this episode, we see Ashland as he feels cornered. Summer Newman-Abbott tries to keep Harrison distracted by the ducks as Nikki, Michael and Kyle unleash their fury on Ashland. After that, the cop arrives and arrests him. He acted very surprised to see the cops and complained that this was all Diane’s doing. However, despite their arrival, Ashland does not resist the cops.
Nikki is worried that this action may not be enough to send their message to Ashland. Michael insisted Diane really came through and made their plan work; however, he agreed with Nikki. They will have to do more to make sure Ashland is threatened. Meanwhile, after Ashland’s arrest, we saw Diane worry about the close call of the evening. She was worried that Kyle would be angry as this happened in the presence of Harrison. Kyle will stand by her side, whereas Summer will see through Diane and suspect her plan is to collude with Ashland.
Adam Makes The Ultimate Sacrifice
Family drama is at its height with the Newman family. In this episode, we see Adam make the ultimate sacrifice and break up with Sally. He did this so that she could continue to run Newman Media. He even tells her that he does not need her, trying to make Sally believe his words as much as possible. Will Sally see through his plan and know in her heart that he still loves her?
Furthermore, despite Adam’s plan, it looks like Sally may not be able to retain the job. In this episode of The Young and the Restless, we saw Victor tell Victoria that having Sally in the company without Adam is no good. Looks like Adam’s sacrifice could be in vain.
