The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, September 12, 2022, revealed the story of Sally and Nate. The two of them were in precarious positions in their jobs. First, Sally forgot an important marketing meeting after her encounter with Adam. Chloe scolded her and reminded her how toxic Adam was for her. Nick was happy to see Sally accept her fault and promised to support her.
Meanwhile, Nate told Elena about his fight with Devon. Elena asked him if he was interested in working at the hospital again. Nate told her he was not and met Victoria at the coffeehouse. He asked Victoria if her previous job offer was still available, and she said there were no openings.
Sally Messes Up Work, Nick Defends Her
In this episode of The Young and the Restless, we saw Nick tell Sally she doubted herself because of Adam. However, Victoria wanted to replace Sally as she was not the best for the role. Nick suggested Sally needed more time to prove herself. At Newman Media, Chloe lost her mind when Sally did not arrive for a marketing summit between Newman Media and the marketing teams.
Sally insisted the event was later, but Chloe argued it had already happened. Later, Sally checked her calendar and realized Chloe was right. She confessed she was distracted because of Adam. However, she assured Chloe she was done with Adam. Nick arrived and asked Sally why she forgot to attend the meeting.
Sally informed Nick about her meeting with Adam. Nick realized her old relationship was harming her work. Sally promised to make up for the debacle and get Adam out of her system. Nick believed her and supported her in this endeavor. Later, Sally was worried

At Crimson Lights, Nate spoke to Elena about the latest fight with Devon. Furthermore, he felt she was on Devon’s side and not his. Elena denied this and suggested she was trying to understand Devon’s point of view. Later, Elena suggested Nate could return to the hospital, but Nate rejected the idea.
Moreover, Nate could go back to Memorial hospital only as a surgeon, and Devon had ensured that could not happen again. Nate met Victoria
Victoria told Nate she did not have an opening for him. She promised to keep him in mind in case there ever was. Furthermore, she told Nate that some family issues could help him to push through and fight for what he wanted most.
